*well as i do with every year since 2004, i keep a running log of every single album i've listened to in that particular year (except the really bad ones that aren't worth remembering) in hopes of looking back one day to reminisce about all the terrible music I used to rock out to. and so once again either on website, blog or message board here is said list. you're allowed to a) marvel at my compulsive nature to which i keep track of this imbisilic information or....b) become entirely mistified at my compulsive nature to which i keep track of this imbisilic information. here's to 2009 being a better year in music.-patrick

*thank you all for bearing with me in my time of sickness as I battle a nasty little bug this week. This week however brought forth another amazing band from the UK which I chose to feature. The Twilight Sad, originally from Glasgow Scotland have begun to create waves in recent months on their strong 2007 debut album Fourteen Autumns and Fifteen Winters. They've drawn widespread critical acclaim and have begun touring the UK with well known acts such as Mogwai and The Smashing Pumpkins. Give 'em a listen and you won't be disappointed. - Patrick
